You can refer to this tool in any formula, macro, module, or other script in Blockpad. You can use either its name or its full path:

  • To refer to it by name, use HideInBlocksProperty (make sure the library Library.Tools.Properties is included with Include Libaries)
  • To refer to it by its full path, use Library.Tools.Properties.HideInBlocksProperty

Hide in Blocks controls the visibility of any kind of section when used in scenario block.

When set to Yes, sections are not displayed in scenario blocks they are used in. This is useful if there are details, side calculations, or data that you don't want to appear in the output of a block.

The formulas in a section with Hide in Blocks set to Yes will still recalculate.

Hide a section in blocks:
  1. Select the section by hovering over it and clicking the label.
  2. Open the properties window.
  3. Under Object, change Hide in Blocks to Yes.
Notes:
  • You can use the hide property of a section to conditionally hide content in a report.
