A Value Cell is a normal spreadsheet cell.
In a value cell, you can enter text, number, and date values directly into the cell. You can also enter a formula, indicated by an equals sign at the beginning. In a formula, you can do all kinds of calculations, like the spreadsheet formulas you're used to, but with more capabilities.
A value cell is the default for spreadsheets and tables, but you can change a value cell to a multiline cell, which acts more like a report.
