Under the Library menu, as of this release, you can choose Publish File Piece or Publish Scenario Block. Then, you can proceed through the options to save the item to the global Library.
You can also publish through the Library Browser (under the Library menu). In the Library Browser, click Add Item at the top, and proceed through the same options.
All items you save to the Library must go into an individual library that you control. You can create libraries either in the web browser or in the app. When you create a library, you can make the library public or private. In the future, there will be more options for granting permissions.
File parts and scenario blocks have full support for all Blockpad file content (text, math, tables, drawings, etc.). As of this release, the preview pages on the website only show plain text, but content published now will automatically start showing drawings, math layouts, etc. as support is added to the website. (Update: Support for Math Layouts added with web-only version 0.9.2039)
Use blocks from the Library in Blockpad files. If you click Insert Block in the toolbar, you can choose blocks from your personal or subscribed libraries to insert into a file.
Use any library values in formulas. For example, if you put a file part with variable "A" in a library called Library.MyLibrary.Constants, you can refer to it by the formula Library.MyLibrary.Constants.A. You can also include the library by opening the Library menu, clicking Include Libraries, click Add, select the library, click OK, then click close. Then, you can simply use the formula Constants.A.
Improved support for fractions. Now, if you have a formula such as 3 1/2 in + 0 3/4 in, the result will automatically be shown as a fraction, 4 1/4 in.
Note: The next release will also support fractions without a leading zero, such as 1/4 in or 3/16 in.
